All items purchased remain the property of Ultra Furniture until they are fully paid for.
All sales are final. If already ordered, cancellations will not be accepted.
Some returns may be accepted, at the discretion of Ultra Furniture’s management, as long as the product’s box is not opened and is still in its original packaging. In such a case, a re-stocking fee of 30% to 40% (rate depends on the marketability and warehousing conditions pertaining to the item) will be charged to the customer. This fee will be returned to the customer via credit which will only be applicable to the store.
The manufacturer’s warranty against a manufacturing defect will be honoured. The warranty period varies, depending on the item. Ultra Furniture will undertake to replace the item or, in some cases, fix it if by fixing it, the product will return to its perfect condition.
It is the responsibility of the customer, after opening the package, to check for any defects and report the defect immediately to Ultra Furniture, before assembling.
It is the responsibility of the customer to return any defective item to the store. In the case where Ultra Furniture has to pick up the defective item, a transport fee will be charged to the customer.
Reporting defects after the unit has been assembled will not be accepted.
DELIVERIES
To ensure proper and efficient delivery, it is the responsibility of the customer to clear the way of any obstruction in the delivery path.
Our delivery staff is comprised of professionals who take great care to avoid any damage to the recipient’s property. They are only required to drop off furniture on the main landing. If they are asked to take the furniture up or down the stairs and damage is caused inadvertently, Ultra Furniture will not be responsible for this damage, as this was a work that our staff is not normally required to do.
Our delivery staff will inform the customer as to the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to be present. If no one is present to accept delivery when our staff arrives at the scheduled time and if the delivery has to re-scheduled, a second delivery fee will be charged.
